    Screenshoticon How to Add Videos

    Hi Again Members!

Our video section is now up and running. There are still a couple of template issues that need to be cleared up but it is fully operational. Here are some step-by-step points on how to use it.

    1. Go to Video Site and copy URL supplied for sharing
    2. Come back to TotalCG Videos main page
    3. Click on Add Videos
    4. Enter title for video
    5. Select the proper category for the video
    6. Past the url you copied from the other site
    7. Click on "Load Information" button, which will grab the information for the vide an populate the field
    8. You can edit the description if you wish in the Description window
    9. Finally. Click on the Add Video button at the bottom of the page and the video will now appear in the main video page.

We don't have all the categories listed either but if you want to see a specific category then just post it here. Now here is a list of sites that you can load videos from. It's a small list but we are working on more of them:

    - Dailymotion
    - MegaVideo
    - Metacafe
    - Veoh
    - Vimeo
    - VimeoHD
    - YouTube
    - YouTubeHD

Any questions just post them here.

Is there any way I can make some more sub categories?
I think having a huge 'General' area is just begging for clutter and confusion

Also, I am going to need volunteers to upload specific anime. If you interested, respond here or pm me

Yes you should be able to see the panel in the admin area. It's on the left side called Video Directory. You can create and edit categories there. Let us know if you cannot see it.

When you have a chance, can you logoff and log back on?

Double check the account settings. This could be with the plugin script as well.

Any more bright ideas square-nuts? .... Check his session logs and see how he is being authenticated during sign-on. I can see his primary is admin but take off the others as see if that will help.

It worked fine for me, I recenetly uploaded the full movie of "Deadspace: Downfall" from Megavideo and I watched it through to the end without a problem.
Although I had go to DB's account, to access he videos section, it otherwise works fine.

Although I feel we need to have an AMV section since AMV's are an essential part of an Anime fanbase

Yep I think the idea is to place it into the video section and that would move into archive. I guess the best bet is to see what the admins all agree to?
