    Default Dangerboy's Bio

    Hi Everyone,

Since I’m the first artist to post my bio here, I guess I better set a good example for others huh!? Well whatever… Here goes.

    Historical
Initially born in Houston Texas, and attended both University of Houston and Texas Tech, right after I did one tour with the 75th Ranger division 90-92. After 4 years working as an IT support manager for Enron Corporation, I relocated to Toronto Canada in mid 1999 and have been here ever since. My fascination with 3D animation led me to start playing around with some software packages in late 2001, primarily Poser 3 and various graphic editing programs. I have only picked up doing 3D again in 2007, but mostly because I saw and fell in love with Temari in a youtube amv. Since that time I have modeled her and several of the female characters from Naruto (cause they are easier to do than men).

    My Current Art Software Experience:
    - Poser 7 Pro
    - 3D Studio Max
    - Adobe Photoshop
    - Daz Mimic
    - Crazy Talk 4
    - UV Mapper Pro
    - Face Shop Pro

    Why am I here?
Basically I’m a 3D drop-out from a 3D art community. I never really fit in there considering that I wanted to do anime renders and the community had even less knowledge about anime than I did. When I say “Naruto”, they though I meant “Burito”. Anyway, I found some anime communities and they seem to really like the renders I do. I have to say that I like doing this stuff and it’s become a wonderful form of escapism for me. I have no clue as to what I am going to do in the future with this form of art… I guess you all better just stick around to find out huh?

I never did try 3D Studio Max. I should someday.

I have not done anything in so long I fear I may have lost whatever skill I obtained. I still don't have a handle on photoshop or any of the applications I mentioned.... I'm too impatient.

I just got one myself and it's kinda cool. I actually took that recommendation from Temari-Chan but I'm still a novice with photoshop. I've seen some of the stuff people can do and I still don't get it.

It took so a bit to get the hang of it. Once you do it's easy and fun.
