Om nom nom nom
I'll give you more info on Hanyuu tomorrow. As for which ending I perfer, I don't know. Matsuribayashi is certainly the best outcome, but Miotsukushi seems to fit the bittersweet feel of the series, at least to me. But I can happily live with Matsuribayashi being the general accepted ending. It still ties up everything and the happy ending warms the heart, especially after everything Rika has been through to get to it
No actually Hanyuu doesn't get shot by Takano. In Miotsukushi, Takano is wandering around the woods and Banken find her and shoot at her. Hanyuu then appears out of nowhere and takes the bullets. And game wise, Hanyuu's past is explained in Matsuribayashi if I do recall, although not in the manga. It's in there somewhere lol. Yeah, I had one of those emotional moments there in Yoigoshi too. I almost cried like I did at the end of Minagoroshi and Matsuribayashi. I agree with you 100 percent on the mind and emotions. It's almost too much.
Yeah Miotsukushi was only in the game. And kind of. Matsuribayashi was the original ending, but Miotsukushi was an extra arc thrown in there to make a slightly bittersweet ending in which one main character dies, but it's a happy ending. (Hanyuu ) And like I said, I love Yoigoshi. It was so...sad is kind of the right word, but bittersweet again seems to fit it. You know why. And yes that was Keiichi's house.
Yeah, Rika is actually the main character of the entire show, but it isn't revealed until the second season, and I like that, cause it left a lot of room for development. As for the manga, I don't know. Miotsukushi has not been written yet I don't believe. Or if it even will, I don't know. It's quite a good chapter though, as it can used as the overall end of the series in place of Matsuribayashi. I've also seen you've been reading the manga. I know Onikakushi is complete on Onemanga, but what others have you read? I recommend Yoigoshi-hen. It is complete and it is kind of like an after effect of Tsumihoroboshi-hen if it ended in the school burning down way. It really caught me off guard at the end as it was beautiful and sad. It takes place almost in modern day too.
Yes, the sub just had that atmosphere that a dub could not have. Every time I thought I knew the solution, they throw another twist in, and it was brilliant. Personally, I've never seen an anime's story had a plot this complicated yet brilliant. It starts confusing, yet at the end, every question is answered. Beautiful
Umineko is a completely different story that takes place in 1986 on an island. It's not as good as Higu, but you should check it out eventually. Yes, they were raw. The manga is more similar to the game than the anime. the games (visual novels) were absolutely amazing, and the manga takes a cue from the games and really goes much more in depth than the anime could ever go. I think it was Ooishi's old partner. I know the scene you are talking about, but me thinks I am going to have to watch Higu again. Not complaining.
Damn you watched it quick lol. Glad you enjoyed it as much as i did. Ok than. Woman at end was Fredrika Berncastle. In the manga she's explained a little better, plus she's in Umineko no Naku Koro Ni lol. Kokoroiyashi has not been translated as far as i can find. It's an extra arc after the end. It means "Heart Healing" The manga carries a much creepier atmosphere and is more in depth than the anime. My question. Did you watch it subbed, or dubbed? I personally could not stand the dub. Omochikaeri!!
I'm glad you like it so far. 3 and 4 of the first arc are among my favorite of the entire series. But you'll see
Thanks ^ ^
